I am a science educator and administrator by profession and a photographer by interest and hobby.  I graduated from CSU Chico in 2008 with a BS in Biology and a single-subject teaching credential.  I am a self-taught photographer (other than a class in high school) through many years of experience, through looking at others' photography, working with other photographers, and trying things out myself. My beautiful wife Natalie and I have been married since 2007 and have two amazing children Evalyn and Levi.  My first full-time teaching job in Watsonville brought us out to Santa Cruz County in 2009.  We greatly enjoy living in this area and have been blessed by that move in many ways.  

 

What I enjoy most about photographing people and events is capturing the candid and  casual moments that show your natural smile, one's unique personality, or a group's excitement.
